Privacy for PDF editor workflows
PDFs often contain contracts, IDs, financial records, internal notes, metadata, or customer documents. BlaBla PDF keeps core PDF editing and tools focused on browser and device work so files do not need to become a cloud processing dependency.
GDPR / EU privacy
BlaBla PDF is designed to support GDPR principles such as data minimization, purpose limitation, privacy by design, and appropriate security measures. Account, billing, support, and website systems are separated from the PDF editor and tool workflow.

PDF editor and tool processing
BlaBla PDF is built around an editor and tools that process selected PDFs in the browser or on the user's device whenever the workflow can run locally.
No automatic file upload
The PDF tools are not designed to automatically send selected files to our servers. When a workflow requires an export, the user chooses the output and saves it intentionally.
Sensitive document controls
Privacy scanning, metadata removal, redaction, protection, flattening, and inspection features are organized around helping users understand and reduce what a PDF exposes before they share it.
Account and billing separation
Login, subscription, payment, and transactional email systems are handled by the website. Full card data is processed by the payment provider, not stored by BlaBla PDF.
Purpose-limited permissions
Browser extension permissions should support the PDF product experience: selecting documents, running tools, exporting files, account status, and product updates.
Transparent deletion
Local browser data remains under the user's control. Account and billing data can be managed through the account, billing, support, and legal workflows described on this site.
